HEY I’M ERIN!
I have lived in Richmond for 10 years now. I love this city.
I’ve spent my time here working as a full time nanny, and then as a postpartum doula. I’ve been welcomed into countless homes, and have been lucky enough to observe and photograph the sweet and messy moments that unfold. I’ve seen how the monotony of those long days often overshadows the ever present wonder that comes with raising little ones. Because of this, I specialize in maternity, child, and family lifestyle photography.
Lifestyle photography highlights authenticity, which is exactly what I’m after!
Perfection is old news. Let’s keep it real.

Aside from photography, you’ll find me spending time with my people. I love a slow Sunday, coffee dates, picnics, rummikub, cheap wine and good pizza. If I had it my way I would travel often, and bike instead of drive. I love to write. I love to cook. I love to wander.
I believe in the power of staying curious and understanding. And I believe that a healthy dose of humility, and a good sense of humor can carry us through most anything.
Last but not least, to truly know me, you must understand my deep & undying love for my dogs,
Osbourne & Muppet.
A good friend of mine once told me that I walk around the world as if I’ve never seen it before. She wasn’t wrong. I really pay attention- to the details, the lighting, shape, emotion, intimacy- yada yada. I have always looked for a way to share my observations in a way that made sense. I can never quite find the right words- and so, I photograph. While a poised and polished photo style is one that I can appreciate, when it comes to my own style, Amy Poehler said it best. “Good for you, not for me.”
Give me the mess!
I want what’s real, and true.
The golden hours, the unscripted chaos, the essence of life itself.
The wildflower is a symbol of freedom.
Freedom to be stubborn, and flawed, vibrant, and soft, all at once.
Through storms and drought, wildflowers bloom.
Such is life.
Welcome to Wildflower.
Come as you are.
MISSION
Plain and simple, I want to you feel seen.
I want you to see your life through rose colored lenses even just for a minute; and then, I want to bottle it all up for you as a tangible reminder of the good ol’ days for generations to come. My love for art, and connection is obvious. But, my passion has always been rooted in empowering women, and mothers. I have heard far too many stories of the jaded woman who feels invisible upon entering motherhood- something’s gotta give.
I am here to rewrite the rules.
You deserve to be in the photos. It is not too much to ask.
If this speaks to you, I’m your girl.
